SC Rookies has focused on providing a fun, recreational sports program for children. Our program provides an active outlet for children before they are able to participate in organized sports. All of our coaches have experience working with children and have personal experience in organized sports. Along with experience, our coaches have a love for children and enthusiasm for teaching.

OUR COACHES

COACH YVONNE

Yvonne, owner of SC ROOKIES, has years of experience teaching grades K-12. Along with teaching, she worked for the Orange County Department of Education developing curriculum for the Institute for Character Education and also trained with the International Baccalaureate foundation developing lessons.

Yvonne has been involved in organized sports playing soccer, softball, track, and water polo. She strives to maintain an active lifestyle with her family.

COACH ROBERT

Coach Robert has experience working with children in the summer VBS program. He currently plays volleyball and has previous experience with baseball and football as well.

COACH KAELA

Coach Kaela has experience working with children in various capacities. She has actively volunteered at Boys and Girls Club and Charity League involved with children. Along with an interest in working with children, Kaela is pursuing credentials in Yoga instruction. She enjoys an active lifestyle and is a musician and writer.

Coach Kelly is a San Clemente High graduate with over 14 years of personal experience in organized sports. She played San Clemente softball for 10 years and water polo. Kelly has years of experience caring for children and she is currently attending Saddleback College and working towards a major in Child Psychology.

Coach Brooke enjoys working with children in her free time. As cheerleading captain she taught cheerleading clinics for elementary school students. She also has experience in softball and tennis.
